Mr Dilip Babu, CEO of Info-Tech Systems, has made a personal donation of $100,000 in support of Bizlink’s social initiatives during a charity lunch held on 11 October 2024. At the event, Bizlink’s Chairman, Mr Chua Choy Soon, and CEO, Ms Ang Li May, along with 180 beneficiaries and Bizlink staff, were present to receive the cheque on behalf of the organisation.

Mr Babu’s donation will go directly towards supporting Bizlink’s key training initiatives, including its E-commerce Fulfilment Training Centre, located at the Enabling Business Hub @ Jurong. In addition, part of the funds will be allocated to the creation of a new Digital Solutions Training Centre. These facilities aim to equip individuals with disabilities with skills in emerging digital technologies, such as machine learning tools, enabling them to enhance their employability.

During the charity lunch which was sponsored by Mr Babu, he and his family handed out packed meals for the 180 beneficiaries. The charity lunch highlighted Mr Babu’s and Bizlink’s mutual commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities, providing them with job opportunities and skill development. “I firmly believe in the power of inclusivity and in ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed. These training centres are about more than just financial aid; they’re about giving people the tools to build sustainable careers and a sense of dignity through work. It’s my honour to be able to contribute to such a cause,” said Mr Babu.

The beneficiaries, many of whom have benefitted directly from Bizlink’s programmes, also presented Mr Babu with a couple of heartfelt artworks. These artworks, created by the individuals, served as a token of their gratitude for his generous support and ongoing philanthropy.

Mr Babu’s dedication to supporting people with disabilities is not new. Beyond Bizlink, Mr Babu is deeply involved in a range of charitable initiatives. In Singapore, he has been a long-time supporter of the School Pocket Money Fund and SINDA.

The partnership between Mr Babu and Bizlink continues to reinforce the importance of personal responsibility in fostering an inclusive society where everyone, regardless of their challenges, can contribute and benefit from economic opportunities. “True success is not just about growing a business,” Mr Babu said, “it’s about using that success to give back to underprivileged communities, so they have the same opportunities for growth as us.”
